A new course at Dorchester Adult Education centre will give you an opportunity to
discover your own creative strengths by exploring different themes in a range of techniques and materials.
All projects will start with a visit to a local place of interest to provide
rich starting points for investigation into mixed- media, drawing, sculpture, textiles
and printing. You will be encouraged to find out about other artists,
share ideas within the group and develop an interesting piece of original
artwork.
It may be possible to produce work which will lead to a GCSE or 'A' level
qualification in Art and Design at ArtXtra.

New Short GCSE Art course for teenagers starts July 2008.
This one year course is ideal for pupils who can't fit art into their year 10 options
at school. The course start in July 2008 and runs for 10 months until May
2009. From September the classes will be on a Thursday evening from 5:30
to 7:30..
