ArtXtra
ArtXta has been developing as a small art centre since 1998. It is set
in 'Wessex Barn', a Grade 2 building full of character, which boasts an
interesting history as well as an original Tudor ceiling. Three linked studios
provide plenty of space and are well lit, warm and welcoming.
Most art materials are on offer, including a black and white photographic studio
and ceramics. Plans to convert part of the barn into an exhibition space are underway.
The large garden
is set on different levels and provides plenty of inspirational views, as well
as a teeming pond and a terrace for coffee. During Summer Art Days the children
play table tennis and badminton .
